The Center for Health Promotion strives to attain national and
international distinction by:
- Providing quality educational, research, clinical and community outreach
experiences for undergraduate and graduate students.
- Investigating and disseminating scientific knowledge pertaining to
health promotion, disease and disability prevention, and public health that
influences the adoption and maintenance of healthy lifestyle behaviors for
members of society.
- Pursuing collaborative health promotion funding and research activity
within the School, University, state, region and nation.
- Offering a comprehensive health enhancement menu of services that
integrates existing expertise within the School, University, and state and
national and international affiliations.
- Develop health awareness and enhancement programs that competently
address the needs of underserved local, national, and international
populations.
